The GF70 is a special function railway tank wagon for 1435mm broad gauge railway. It is designed to transport aluminum oxide (alumina) powder, whose bulk density range from 0.95–1.0 t/m³. It employs pneumatic fluidization technology for streamlined loading and unloading operations.
The GF70 aluminum oxide powder tank wagon is designed specifically to transport aluminum oxide powder, with a unit weight ranging from 0.95 to 1.0 t/m³. The tank wagon is loaded and unloaded from the top of the wagon. Compressed air is used to fluidize the material, which is then directed to a distant material tower through discharge pipelines.
The aluminum tank wagon adopts a center beam-free structure, mainly composed of tank assembly, traction pillow assembly, outer ladder assembly, air intake pipeline assembly, air hand brake device, coupler buffer device, bogie and other components. The tank body is made of Q450NQR1 high-strength weathering steel. There are 4 feeding devices (one of which is also used as a manhole) and two unloading devices, and an inner ladder is provided at the manhole. The fluidizing device adopts an improved fluidized bed. The braking system adopts a 120-type control valve and NSW hand brake. The traction device is a No. 17 coupler and an MT-2 buffer. The bogie is K6.
