1. Brief introduction:

Bearing adapter is the connecting part to between the bearing without axle box and the bogie side frame. It transfers longitudinal and transverse loads. After long-term operation, bearing adapter is prone to damage such as cracking and wear, and maintenance operations such as appearance inspection and wear detection need to be carried out according to the technical standards for truck depot repair. Once the wear and damage reaches the limit, replacement is required.

Most of the adapters for three-piece ride control bogies are made of cast steel designed according to AAR M 201. The manufacturing process complies with AAR M-924. Due to optimization design, we could provide suitable adapters compatible with different bearing sizes like type C, type D, type E, type F, applicable for different axle load bogies.
