1. Brief introduction:

AAR standard couplers are couplers comply with American railway standards. We offer series AAR couplers for new built or repaired railway freight wagons.
AAR E coupler and E/F coupler are AAR standard couplers. According to the open method, they could be divided into upper acting type and lower acting type. The hook, knuckle and lock are all treatment by quenching and tempering. The contacting profile comply with AAR S106 10-A profile. The coupler’s material complies with AAR M-201 standard and coupler is manufactured according to AAR M211 standard. All the AAR E coupler and E/F coupler adopt E50A knuckle, which are in consist of and good interchangeability and compatibility with those currently in service in North America.
E/F coupler is developed combining E coupler and F coupler, to meet the requirements of train passing curves and provide enough lateral swing. E/F coupler is mainly used for freight cars with long traction beams. The head of E/F coupler adopts the structure of E type coupler. The body and yoke adopt the structure of F type coupler.
